Eldar Judgment Day

Six months of building terrain and a 4X8' playing surface out of pink foam, painting little metal Wraith-things, cutting, sanding, filing, basing, flocking, drybrushing, inking, making templates, weilding a T-square, going to bed with white glue on my fingers and almost completely surrendering every free surface in my home to little chunks of plastic and pewter, it happened: Six Eldar players came together in a fluff-driving megabattle which would shape all of our armies and signify our last collective hurrah before the new Eldar codex comes into being.

Much will be written about this in the days to come: A how-to for building certain things, battle-reports, galleries, fluff, rundown of rules and mission and general, overall impressions... but let's start with 18 of the photos which captured one of the best games I've ever played since the day I first picked up dice and failed an armor save.

Its funny; at 3am before the battle I was sitting at the table at Corey's place, painting bleach bone on something or another, and I thought to myself "This isn't worth it."

Tweleve hours later I was thinking "This is the best game ever."

Thanks a lot corey, it was the most fullfilling 24 hours of my warhammer career.
